How can I get rid of my dark circles?

I been having dartk circles since I was a little girl. I just wnat them to go away. The cuber, milk, and other stuff I have tried don't work. I've been told by a doctor that it could be because I have loww iron. But he only told me to take iron pills and it didn't make it better. iI put make up on and it bearly covers it up and leaves the rincles under my eyes cus I put too much make up on it. What should I do?
