Were lakers better last year?

This year they are 21-5...last with gasol they were 24-4 with a WAY tougher schedule..i mean they went on a 9 game road trip and nearly swept it..they played NO twice, san antonio, dallas twice..phoenix...@utah..this year more home games vs easier teams.whats with the lakers??? and can they PLEASE TRADE ODOM..even if they can get a role player who can play D and shoot and start at SF thats enough..odoms only averaging 8 points a game, and just imagine if they could get someone like marion or rasherd in a 3 way trade...and im a laker fan but bostons ganna kill us...again.
