Beginner looking to buy a piano?

I've been playing for 10 years and what you saying music wise is leaning more towards a keyboard more variety and many you can do with it but really it's what you want. Different pianos means different sound quality so my advice try them out but portable from colledge to home I would go with the keyboard.
